We went snorkeling at Turtle Bay... but these are the only pictures we took there... we were so excited to get in the water.... next time there will be better pictures.. 

I didn't know this until recently, but chan is part puffer fish,

we have since found out that it is not appropriate to tuck in the shirt... luckily we discovered this before he went in public

School & Beach things...

Chan's FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! awwwww isn't he cute

Chan has another picture exactly like this taken when he was like 12, I'm so mad, I was going to post it but its saved on my other computer, which sadly isn't coming on the Hawaii adventure.

Baby jellyfish... poor guy got washed up. 

Not much to say... just another day at the beach for him...

awe. 

These crabs seriously hate Chandler. He waited outside their little holes until they came out. They were never happy to see him. 

Our Apartment

This is the extra room.... the only place that has surfaces that have not been sprayed down bleach.

This candle was a crucial part of the apartment.. it smells delicious.

Seals, Islands & Chicken

We went exploring and found this cool beach. There were SO MANY shells on this beach, and a bunch of little islands just off shore.

Since we're still getting used to the time change, we were on the beach around 6AM, which is apparently a little early for our little friend here. He was still very tired and annoyed that Chan keep making him open his eyes for pictures. 

I know I already posted a picture of this tree, but I LOVE IT! 

He found a shell... and lets be honest he's just cute. 

Turtles, Crabs & Cars!

Our first day on the island we went to a beach while we were waiting to buy our car. I went running into the water and Chan starts yelling at me to stop- I definitely thought I was about to be eaten by a shark... but it was just turtles! Tons of them!

Our Hawaii Car! This beauty is a 95 Volkswagen Cabrio. A little old... but the price was right and it was a convertible!

 This tree is one the beach right down the hill from our apartment. Booeys are a crucial part of island decor. They're everywhere- and yes thats how you spell booey, I looked it up. 

Our temporary apartment! Until we can move in to our real one we are stuck in a very small guest room. Our bed is the only place I have deemed as livable for humans, so it is our bed, couch, and table. 

 we piled all our luggage on the other bed... 

Chan's epic battle with the crab! This little guy got uncovered by a wave and unfortunately we saw him before he could re-burrow. 

 These little holes are all along the beach and are all full of crabs. 

 This is the Hawaii temple! It's grounds are the only well maintained grounds on maybe the whole island....
